Most of you are aware that the Canandaigua Road bridge closed last year. We have all found alternate routes to get to where we want to go. Many of us have begun using Waynesport Road more. What will happen if the Waynesport Road bridge closes? Well, for me, it will be a big inconvenience. But, think of the impact on the small businesses that recently opened near WalMart. Will they survive?
What can we do to research who will be making the decision to close the Waynesport Road bridge or not? Is the bridge in danger of collapsing if it is not closed? Can it wait until after the Canandaigua Road bridge re-opens, which might be 4-5 years? How can we make our voices heard?
